How We Work

Our learning strategy method consists of three steps

People-based Discovery

Obtain information through interviews and surveys to understand what is successful and what is not. Our strategist listens for goals, priorities, focus areas as well as roadblocks, challenges, and gaps.

People-focused Asset Review

Our strategy team includes a Learning Experience Architect who will examine the existing training looking for valuable assets that are effective and areas that might be considered gaps or outdated.

Impediments and Barriers

The strategy team will remain on alert to identify impediments and barriers. The output will even include those non-training related barriers they might uncover so they are not lost.

The Success Plan

At Tech-learning, we are passionate about assessing the effectiveness of our training. We start planning for this from the first interaction with you, considering how we can support your business objectives and behavior change. We apply the Kirkpatrick model backwards and begin with the expected results and behaviors.

Learner Personas

Learner-orientation, including learner personas to distinguish the similarities and differences among the intended roles, the core competencies, and the current curriculum, are the key criteria for our analysis.

Asset Control and Maintenance

We evaluate the current content lifecycle and maintenance plan for training assets as part of our analysis. The strategist will also examine the communication and how to improve it.

Strategic Insights

This section is the essence of the strategy presentation. The strategist gives an overview of what was found and what the current state looks like. The team then reveals insights for the future.

High-level Curriculum Design

Based on those insights, a content maintenance plan and a high-level curriculum design are provided by the Learning Experience Architect, with suggested topics, levels, modality and timing.

Role-based Learning Paths

The team also creates a visual illustration of the learning paths for each intended role. This may include recommendations about badges and certifications.

Design and Development Recommendations

To assist with the next steps, the strategy will offer specific design and development recommendations with a “start anywhere and go everywhere” approach.
